The Australian Association of Gentle Modern Dog Training Instructors Inc.
The Association was founded in 1996 as an umbrella organisation responsible for providing approved dog training instructors courses under Victorian State Government legislation.
What does the Association offer?
Instructor training courses are held on a regular basis. The emphasis is on small groups and providing excellent practical training using The Gentle Modern Method of Dog Training as well as theoretical knowledge. Instructors who complete the course are accredited under the Domestic (Feral and Nuisance) Animals Act in Victoria.
Ongoing training and peer review is provided through workshops and instructors can be subsidised to attend courses run by other organisations.
