Puppy School

At Kintala we highly recommend all puppies receive socialisation and training from as young as 8 weeks. We take puppies from 8 to 14 weeks of age.

Course Details

All of our instructors have undergone an intensive, government accredited practical and theoretical dog training course.

Kintala Puppy School is a 4 week training course.

Early training helps to build a strong relationship between you and your puppy from an early age and set the foundations for a happy dog in the future.

Puppy school classes are held on Saturday mornings at the Warringal Parklands in Heidelberg.

Lessons are provided on an individual basis by our qualified instructors and are subject to availability. Please note bookings are essential.

Lesson times are

  • 8.40am -9.15am
  • 9.25am -10.00am

Each session include puppy play and socialisation with other puppies, as well as a private lesson with your own instructor. Your instructor will show you how to teach your dog essential manners and training foundations, and will also address such issues as the importance of early socialisation, toilet training, jumping, biting/nipping, barking etc.
